Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.ResponsibilitiesSupports and drafts program milestone related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directivesSupports the development of program acquisition documentation such as: Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), Procurement Initiation Document (PID), Performance Work Statement (PWS), Funding documents, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA)Assesses program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirementsAttends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boardsForeign military sales (FMS)/international products experience is a plusQualifications10+ years' experience performing duties described in the functional descriptionExcellent communication and interpersonal skills—verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening—for staff, customer, and organizational level communications, both formal and informalAbility to perform all functional duties independently, self-starterWorking knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; Microsoft Project 2016; and Adobe Acrobat (reader and pro)Desired Qualifications5 years' of experience supporting NAVAIR to include ACAT acquisition milestone documentationEducationDegree: MA/MS degree.Allowable Substitution: Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree, or six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree.Clearance:Condition of Employment: Applicant must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
