Junior Acquisition Specialist

Description

GD Resources is hiring Junior Acquisition Specialists to provide entry-to-mid-level support to Government under the general supervision of senior acquisition staff, gaining hands-on experience across the acquisition lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Support the interpretation and application of FAR/HHSAR under general supervision
  • Assist with development of procurement request packages and lifecycle documentation
  • Help monitor acquisition performance metrics, including PALT
  • Support preparation and review of acquisition strategies, SOWs/PWS, IGCEs, and source selection materials
  • Assist with source selection documentation and procurement recordkeeping
  • Support contract administration tasks, including invoice review and correspondence
  • Assist with FOIA responses involving procurement-sensitive information
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Federal government acquisition and program support
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution (in lieu of a degree, 5 years of directly relevant federal acquisition experience will be accepted)
  • Familiarity with FAR/HHSAR
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work under general supervision


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting NIH, HHS, or other Federal civilian acquisition organizations
  • Familiarity with NIH procurement systems (PRISM, IPPS, MERLIN) and acquisition documentation
