StraCon Services Group is seeking a Senior Acquisition Specialist with strong expertise in federal contracting and DoD acquisition. This role supports Program Management Teams (PMTs) with a focus on contract analysis, Sections B-J of solicitations and aligning acquisition strategy with program execution. The Senior Acquisition Specialist job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Essential Job Duties:
- Analyze and support contract documentation with emphasis on Sections B-J (pricing, deliverables, and attachments).
- Assist in acquisition planning, strategy development, and procurement documentation.
- Support Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) development and adjudication.
- Monitor contract performance, funding, and schedules; identify risks and recommend solutions.
- Support PMT activities, including IPTs, program reviews, and status reporting.
- Track action items, maintain program databases, and ensure timely closure.
- Analyze Earned Value Management (EVM) data, cost performance, and schedule metrics.
- Conduct cost analyses (TOC, Should Cost, CAIV, LCC) and support business case evaluations.
- Maintain acquisition and planning data in CSPT, AMS, or similar tools.
- over 8 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
- Hands-on experience with federal contracts and Sections B-J.
- Strong understanding of cost, schedule, and performance management.
- Experience supporting NAVAIR or Navy PMTs.
- Proficiency with AMS and PMT
- Experience with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and executive briefings.
- Understanding of Sections B-J
- Master's Degree required
- Associate Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience, beyond the required experience outlined for the particular labor category, performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree.
- Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience, beyond the required experience outlined for the particular labor category, performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree.
- Six (6) years additional work experience, beyond the required experience outlined for the particular labor category, performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
