Job Description
Serving as the primary point of contact for City of Orlando residents, the Customer Service Representative provides prompt, professional, and courteous support regarding Solid Waste services. This fast-paced role involves managing high-volume calls and emails, resolving service issues, maintaining accurate records, and delivering administrative support to division management. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, proficiency in City software and Microsoft Office, and a strong commitment to high-quality public service and policy compliance.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and two (2) years of clerical experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Typing speed of 25 WPM or higher required.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
