Some benefits can vary based on location, employment status, or length of employment.Free stand-by travel privileges on Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, & Horizon Air explore the world on us!401(k) with company match.Company provided life insurance.Opportunity to earn additional pay each quarter based on performance.Generous holiday pay and paid time off.Job DescriptionAs an Interline Baggage Ramp Agent,you'llplay a key role in ensuring passengers' baggage is accurately transferred, staged, and routed to the proper destination.You'llwork in a fast-paced, outdoor environment where teamwork, safety, and attention to detail are essential.Ifyou'reready for a physically active role that makes a real impact, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely lift, load,unload,andtransport baggagefromconveyor belts.Deliver passenger luggagetodesignatedlocationswithinanallottedtimeframe.Safely driveandoperateground equipment,such as tugs, in areas of congestion.Operate baggage scanners to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination.Monitor weather conditions and takeappropriate safetymeasures.Perform regular equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.Comply withall federal, state, municipal, airport authority and carriersafety andsecurity requirements.Performotherduties asassigned to support McGee's successful business operation.QualificationsRequiredA valid driver's license witha good drivingrecord.Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.Ability to pass a physicalcapabilitytest.(SEA and SFO only)Ability to pass a criminal background check.Ability to obtain &maintainanairport SIDA badge, US Customs seal, and USPS security clearance.Ability to work any shift, includingearly mornings, late nights,weekendsand Holidays.Lifting up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis.Proficiencyin English (written and spoken).Must be able to bend, stoop, squat,reach,and grasp.Exceptional interpersonal skills withtheability toget alongwith others.Ability to work at a constant and quick pace.Understanding and ability toutilizeelectronic tools to interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information.Performing basic mathematical functions.(e.g., counting bags)High school diploma or equivalent.Must be at least 18 years of age.Mustbe authorized towork in the U.S.PreferredPreviousexperience working in a physically demandingorsafetycriticaljob.#J-18808-Ljbffr
