We are looking for energetic and community oriented police officers tojoin our team and help us make Clearlake a cleaner, safer community.

We have a recently remodeled police facility, a fleet of new vehicles (inc. take home program), new on-site gym facility, new 911 dispatch center, up-to-date equipment and the latest in technology. We will provide you with the training, experience and tools to be your best.

With special assignments including field training officer, traffic officer, K-9 handler, detective, school resource officer, SWAT, and corporal, there are opportunities for a variety of skill sets as you grow with our organization. Salary equivalent up to $54.53/hour ($9,452/month) with incentives. This recruitment is for lateral, academy graduates or students currently enrolled in a POST Basic Police Academy (including Modular Level 1). If you have not attended a POST academy (Basic Course or Modular Level 1) or completed the Basic Course Waiver process, you will NOT be considered for this recruitment. A completed POST Personal History Statement (PHS) must be attached to this application.
