ObjectiveThis is an onsite, office position

The flight coordinator/scheduler is responsible for providing outstanding service to charter customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company procedures and ensure proper scheduling of all charter/owner flights as well as communicating effectively with customers, pilots, and team members within the flight department. Maintain operational control of all flight activities associated with planning, scheduling, and ground handling of aircraft movements to expedite their completion with excellent service and safety in compliance with company and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities and Duties1. Charter sales duties to include answering incoming calls and quoting trips to new and existing customers2. Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner3. Schedule trips including crewing and coordination with ground support4. Handle customer requests including setting up catering, transportation, hotels, etc. 5. Active flight following of all in-progress trips, review NOTAMS, weather, noise restrictions. Coordinate international flights as required6. Monitor crew schedules, flight/duty/rest limitations7. Administer and actively seek out company cost savings8. Enter post flight information into charter software program for tracking purposes9. Assist flight operations and charter sales with special projects and duties as assignedReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule own work assignments

Reporting RelationshipThis position reports to the Charter Operations Manager

Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a professional environment, which may include exposure to all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft.

Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is an exempt position.This position includes shift work which requires working evenings and weekends, and on scheduled company holidays. Scheduling flexibility a must

TravelSome travel may be required for industry events.

Required Education and Experience1. Experience in the service, aviation or hospitality industry preferred2. Knowledge and experience with FAA regulations3. General aviation knowledge with regard to personal and corporate aircraft.4. Knowledge and experience with US customs entry/exit procedures as well as international handling preferred.5. 2 years' experience in flight management/charter operations6. High School Diploma required, prefer some college and/or Bachelor degree in aviation or related field

Additional Eligibility Qualifications1. FAA Dispatchers licensed preferred2. Acceptable driving record3. Ability to pass a background check4. Zero tolerance drug free company
