Summary
Allied Universal is seeking Correctional Security Officers to maintain safety and order within correctional facilities. Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activity and enforce facility rules and regulations
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols and security inspections
- Control access points, verify identification, and manage inmate movements
- Operate surveillance cameras, radios, and other security technology
- Respond to emergencies, disturbances, and security incidents
- Search inmates, cells, and common areas for contraband
- Prepare clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports
- Follow safety protocols to protect staff, inmates, and visitors
- Assist with counts, transports, and escorts as required
- Collaborate with facility staff and supervisors to maintain order
