Journeyman-Level Commercial Electrician - Panama City, FL
$28-$32/Hour $280 Weekly Per Diem Weekly Pay Long-Term Project
We are hiring experienced, journeyman-level Commercial Electricians for a long-term project located on a military base in the Panama City, Florida area. Candidates must have at least 6 years of commercial electrical experience and be capable of completing installations independently from blueprints.
Pay and Per Diem
- $28-$32/hour, based on experience
- Up to $280 per week in per diem
- Must work the full 40-hour workweek to receive the full $280
- Per diem will be reduced if fewer than 40 hours are worked
- Per diem is capped at $280 per week-additional days or overtime do not increase it
- Weekly pay
- Full-time, long-term opportunity
- Overtime may be available
Job Responsibilities
- Install, bend, and secure EMT conduit
- Pull wire, feeder cable, and branch circuits
- Install and terminate panels, breakers, disconnects, switches, receptacles, and lighting systems
- Perform electrical rough-in, equipment installation, and final trim-out
- Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and electrical drawings
- Troubleshoot electrical systems as needed
- Follow all jobsite safety and security requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- 7+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Must be capable of working at a journeyman level
- Strong conduit-bending, wire-pulling, and termination experience
- Ability to work independently from blueprints
- OSHA 10 required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must provide standard electrical hand tools and required PPE
- Must be authorized to work in the United States through E-Verify
- This project is located on a military base, so all candidates must pass the required background checks and security screening
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must meet all access and identification requirements for the military base
