Summary
Associate Program SpecialistThe Associate Program Specialist enhances the effectiveness of the program management function by performing administrative tasks essential for program success. This role supports program management and customer activities through the coordination of prototype builds, SAP and Winshuttle data entry, and new program/part registration tasks. The specialist will track material required dates, maintain shipping schedules, and work with project teams to resolve issues.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport administrative, clerical, and basic analytical tasks related to program administration.Proactively support activities for prototype and preproduction builds to ensure on-time delivery using Email, MS Excel, and SAP.Register Program Names, Development Codes, and Planning Numbers to support business planning using Excel and GMM/GiTA Salesforce.Support new model/part registration and revisions using Excel, Salesforce, Winshuttle, Agile (Oracle), and SAP.Track customer material required dates, maintain detailed ship schedules, and monitor purchase orders to ensure on-time part delivery.Support the administration of the Global Project Management Process (GPMP) and Program Launch System (PLS).Create and maintain Baseline, Plan, and Actual (BPA) timing data in the GPMP-PLS Application.Work with project team members to identify and resolve open issues within assigned activities.Required QualificationsEducation: A high school diploma or GED is required.Experience: Must possess some demonstrated leadership ability.Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Tools, including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Aptitude for SAP is required.Attributes: Must be able to read, interpret, and follow work procedures and instructions. The role requires the ability to follow standard practices in analyzing situations or data, build productive working relationships, and work well in group problem-solving situations. The candidate must be able to learn computer applications, work independently with minimal supervision, and participate in cross-functional teams.Preferred QualificationsA two or four-year college degree in business, administration, management, operations, engineering, technology, or a related field.Three (3) years of previous experience in program/project or office administration.Experience with, or aptitude for, Microsoft Project, Visio, and PowerApps.Prior experience with SAP or other End-to-End ERP/MRP tools.A general understanding of automotive product development and working knowledge of Automotive Exchange/Covisint.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
