DUTY 1 Performs career broadening assignments, to apply Air Force military, and/or operations expertise, develops, interprets, and implements policies and procedures to provide planning, programming, and budget guidance to facilitate the identification and determination of alternative ways to achieve the best mix of forces, equipment, and support attainable, within fiscal constraints, for major Air Force missions and operational plans.

DUTY 2 Develops new methods for testing and evaluating the effectiveness and integration of Air Force strategies, functional and operational concepts, capability development activities, as well as planning, programming, and budget actions/processes in support of major Air Force missions and operational plans.

DUTY 3 Prepares and presents high-level briefings of conclusions, many being highly subjective and not readily susceptible to verification until actual operational situations are encountered.

DUTY 4 In a career broadening capacity, represents organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
