SUPERVISORY JOINT EXERCISE SPECIALIST

Summary

Duties

Serves as the internal operational manager and senior technical expert of the Joint Exercises and Training Division, Joint Exercises and Training Directorate, for Headquarters, CONR-1 AF (AFNORTH & AFSPACE). The incumbent is responsible for translating the Commander's Training Guidance (CTG) into command-wide readiness by directing the integration and execution of all command-level training and exercise programs, to include the AFFOR Staff Training Plan (STP) and CCMD-directed exercises such as AMALGAM EAGLE and ZIRCON ANGEL. This work supports two Combatant Commands (USNORTHCOM and USSPACECOM) and NORAD.

Duties:

• Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of Joint Exercises and Training Division, ensuring that the command's Joint exercises and AFFOR staff training programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
• Executive Management of the Joint Exercise Program.
• Serves as the command's senior authority and subject matter expert for the AFFOR STP.
• Strategic Partnerships, Communications, and Cross-Functional Leadership.
