We are actively seeking a Sourcing Analyst/Procurement Analyst role for one of our direct clients.Location: King Of Prussia, PA Position: Long termKey Characteristics:Experience with SAP Ariba sourcing; including setting up RFX's and setting up vendors to be able to participate in sourcing events.Experience working with large amounts of data, pulling from multiple sources, and the ability to present findings to others in ways that are meaningful and action-oriented.Familiarity of legal and commercial laws and procurement tactics.Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, assess priorities, and manage a variety of activities, paying attention to detail under tight deadlines and heavy workloads.Duties and Responsibilities:Support the implementation of our “Strategic Sourcing” process and mentality.Create, analyze and manage setting up Ariba sourcing projects and working with SAP IT team on any technical requests to keep projects on schedule.Working with Category Management Team and Business Owners on data gathering for requests for proposals (RFPs).Develop an understanding of the external marketplace and conduct due diligence regarding prospective suppliers with the assistance of key stakeholders.Benchmark industry markets to support category strategies.Assist with the continual development and optimization of operating procedures.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Familiarity with procurement systems and systems management, specific experience with SAP Ariba a plus.Strong project management and process skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.The ability to effectively convey complex and detailed information to a diverse population.Strong bias for action.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with demonstrated business/financial acumen.Proficient with Windows applications, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).Education and Experience Required:Experienced working in a “Strategic Sourcing” environment.3-5 years of procurement related experience.2+ years of experience in a Finance or Audit role a plus.College Graduate BS in business related major.
