Duties

Plans work schedules and sequence of operations to ensure the meeting of scheduled and priority assignments that the higher level supervisor establishes.

Provides employees direct administrative and technical guidance on work requirements and procedures.

Attends pre-design meetings and provides information for user and architect on fire code requirements both locally and nationally.

Keeps current with state-of-the-art fire protection equipment to ensure that the installation meets fire code requirements.

Maintains contact with operating officials to promote cooperative relations and ready compliance with fire protection measures, when regulatory violations are noted.
