Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Certified Profee Coding Specialist will provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for various specialties, ensuring accurate code assignment and compliance with coding guidelines.Key responsibilitiesProvide comprehensive coding services for a minimum of 1-4 specialties, including Primary Care, Ortho, Neurology, and TraumaCalculate ProFee E/M levels and apply diagnosis and procedure codes with high specificityMaintain compliance with ethical coding standards and participate in ongoing training and educationRequired qualificationsCertification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatoryAt least 6 months of on-the-job coding experience is requiredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, with the ability to perform basic functionsExperience with EMR and billing systems is necessaryAbility to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
