Summary

To support the Federal Transit Administration's Office of Acquisition Management, the full-time remote Acquisition Liaison will provide federal acquisition expertise, assist in developing acquisition packages, and coordinate procurement actions throughout the acquisition lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide federal acquisition support to program and technical offices throughout the full acquisition lifecycleServe as a liaison between program personnel and acquisition professionals to ensure proper development and documentation of procurement requirementsAssist with preparing and reviewing acquisition documentation, including Statements of Work and market research reportsRequired QualificationsBachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, or higher degreeAt least 5 years of relevant federal acquisition or contracting experienceDemonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience applying the Federal Acquisition Regulation to federal procurementsExperience supporting acquisition actions from planning through award, administration, and closeoutExperience with multiple contract types, including Firm-Fixed Price and Cost-Reimbursable
