Position Overview:

• The Airport Badged Escorting (Contract Labor) Worker will support vendor access during fuel farm modernization and installation activities at Fixed Base Operator (FBO) locations.
• The escort temp worker will be responsible for accompanying vendor workers while they are on-site in restricted airport, ramp, and fuel-farm areas, making sure they do not enter restricted airport areas.
• This role is critical to maintaining access compliance with airport security, site safety, situational awareness, and smooth coordination between the FBO General Manager and the project team, and installation vendors.
• The Escorting Contract Labor Worker must have the ability to pass a background check according to the airport requirements.
• The right Escorting Worker must have strong skills of situational awareness, safety consciousness, situational awareness, and communication (written, reading, and verbal) skills.
• The worker must provide reliability, punctuality, and ability to remain on-site throughout assigned escort coverage windows.

Responsibilities:

• Escort vendor personnel, contractors, and business partners in restricted airport, ramp, access-road, and fuel-farm areas as required by the site.
• Ensure vendor personnel remain escorted at all times, including during lunch, restroom, and other breaks.
• Coordinate with the FBO General Manager, Ramp Staff, Project Team, Airport Authority, and Vendor Representatives to support daily work activities.
• Confirm and follow approved site access routes, including access gates, ramp roads, and any designated areas used to reach fuel-farm locations.
• Maintain strong situational awareness while operating in active airport environments, including awareness of aircraft movement, ramp traffic, equipment, pedestrians, and site-specific hazards.
• Maintain a minimum 50-foot clearance from aircraft unless otherwise directed by authorized ramp or airport personnel.
• Adhere to all ramp speed limits, traffic patterns, signage, and instructions from ramp staff or airport authority personnel.
• Use flags, flashing lights, vehicle markings, or other site-required equipment when directed by the FBO General Manager or airport authority.
• Pre-plan breaks with vendors and business partners to ensure no unescorted personnel remain in restricted areas at any time.
• Support a professional customer service experience while helping vendors complete assigned installation work safely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in an airport, aviation, ramp, security, construction, logistics, or field-support environment is preferred.
• Must have strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally with airport personnel, FBO staff, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Must have a high attention to detail and strong awareness of surroundings in active operational environments.
• Must have ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including ramp staff direction, airport authority rules, and FBO-specific procedures.
• Must provide reliability, punctuality, and ability to remain on-site throughout assigned escort coverage windows.
