Summary

Managing and monitoring the activities of the Clinical Documentation and Coding Department, the full-time remote Documentation and Coding Project Coordinator will audit provider documentation, educate on coding practices, and collaborate on quality improvement initiatives.Key responsibilities:Expand and improve medical records acquisition for the RADV risk adjustment programAnalyze data to identify trends and opportunities for performance improvement related to CMS auditsPrepare presentations summarizing complex information and assist other departments with clinical documentation initiativesRequired qualifications:HS Diploma or GED from an accredited institution2-3 years of experience in medical record retrieval or administrative experience in a healthcare settingStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and OutlookUnderstanding of CMS RADV requirements and medical record documentation best practices
