Summary

To support efficient coding operations, the full-time remote CPC Certified Coding Coordinator will evaluate and resolve coding edits in Epic, review medical documentation for accurate coding, and provide education to medical providers and coders.Key responsibilities:Navigate Epic EMR to manage Charge Review, Claim Edit, and Follow-up work queues effectivelyAssign appropriate CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 codes and modifiers based on medical record documentationCommunicate coding trends and educational opportunities to leadership while conducting quality assurance auditsRequired qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of five years of professional fee coding experience, with three years in a specialty service lineCPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist Physician (CCS-P) credential requiredExperience with E/M coding specific to the assigned specialty service linePreferred experience using Epic and managing work queues
