To ensure timely and accurate coding for reimbursement and data collection, the full-time remote Certified Coding Coordinator will coordinate daily coding functions, develop coding policies, and train staff on current guidelines and regulations.Key responsibilitiesCoordinate daily coding and coding support functions within Health Information Management ServicesDevelop and implement coding policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory guidelinesTrain coding staff on coding regulations, payment schemes, and data element requirementsRequired qualificationsRHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification or equivalent certification/degreeCollege credits in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiologyThree years of coding experience in a Health Information Management Department or equivalentExperience with implementing and maintaining computer systems
