Communications Specialist/ Install Technician

Description

TEKsystems is looking for Communications technicians for a short term engagement for a Federal customer project.Provides on-call/on-site support for all systems, services, and networks operated and maintained by the Executive Communications Technical SupportTeam. Monitors mobile Executive Communications Team systems and network connectivity to facilitate early detection of incidents, impending outages, or degradations. Loads, unloads, and installs communications equipment on airborne assets and vehicles. Assists USCENTCOM with system lifecycle replacement planning and execution, including procurement of hardware, software, and supplies required for system sustainment. Supports the design and planning of mobile and deployable network communications systems. Provides support to the USCENTCOM COOP program. Installs laptop load set configurations and user profiles on mobile kit components, updates configurations as needed, and maintains accurate inventory records for deployable communications equipment and spares.

This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
