Our Fiscal Team is looking for an enthusiastic entry-level professional to join us in supporting critical daily financial processes that keep our organization running smoothly.As a Fiscal Junior Specialist, you'll ensure the accuracy and timeliness of bank deposits, payment processing, and financial recordkeeping. You'll also have opportunities to assist with additional fiscal support functions, collaborate with team members across departments, and grow your administrative and financial skills in a supportive, professional environment.What You'll DoIn this role, you will support the Court Fiscal team by:Prepare and maintain daily bank deposits and supporting documentationCount, verify, and process cash exchange funds and place change ordersProcess financial transactions and adjustments across multiple systemsPrepare cash bags for next-day operationsManage payments received from the Department of CorrectionsProcess refunds for tax deeds and foreclosure online salesHandle vendor invoicesMonitor and respond to shared mailbox correspondenceAccept and process incoming financial mailFollow documented procedures and uphold all fiscal policiesEscalate issues when needed and maintain strong communication across departmentsSupport teammates and participate in special projects as assignedEnsure proper cash handling, security measures, and confidentiality at all timesWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in business math and data entry.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High school diploma or equivalentTwo years of cash-handling experience.Two years of clerical or administrative experience.Experience working with financial applications or accounting-related systems.The Clerk's office offers a competitive benefits package including:Superior health care plans with low premiumsCompetitive retirement and pension plans - Florida Retirement System and 457 deferred compensation optionsGenerous paid time off, paid holidays, birthday leave, and volunteer timeOur Wellness Program gives employees incentives, tools, social support, and strategies to adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyleWe are a qualifying employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness ProgramApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. Our organization is unable to sponsor or takeover sponsorship of an employment Visa.Note: Vacancy postings may be closed at any time based on business needs.
