The Tallapoosa Circuit District Attorney's Office is seeking a contract Juvenile Prosecuting Attorney to join our team.The selected attorney will be responsible for prosecuting juvenile delinquency cases in Haralson and Polk Counties and will serve as the Juvenile Court Accountability Court Prosecutor.Position ResponsibilitiesProsecute juvenile delinquency cases in Haralson and Polk CountiesServe as the prosecutor for Juvenile Court Accountability CourtWork closely with Juvenile Court judges, probation officers, law enforcement, victims, families, and other stakeholdersRepresent the interests of the State while promoting accountability and appropriate outcomes for juvenilesCompensationContract terms and compensation are negotiable based upon experience and qualifications.Minimum qualificationsAll applicants must be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia or be in good standing of another state's bar association that is eligible for reciprocity admittance to the State Bar of Georgia; and be admitted to practice before the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. All candidates are subject to a background check.
