The Court Liaison will be present in court to perform intake, supply information, and respond to inquiries about participants and/or the program to youth, families, and Family Court personnel such as judges, clerks, attorneys, and court liaisons.Reports to: Program Director , ATDLocation: 330 Jay Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201/692 Blake Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11207Hours: 35 Hours/Per WeekMajor Duties of the Court Liaison:Work collaboratively with court staff to facilitate program admissions.Interviewing clients and families after referral from Family Court judgesPreparing documents with family for program intakeAttend court dates for caseload as neededTravel to New York City courts and detention facilities as neededWork with Service Coordinator to make referrals to appropriate community resources for participants and family members.Present program documentation to court personnel as neededMeet with the Program Director for bi-weekly supervision.Participate in case conferences and staff meetings.Communicate with ACS and DOP staff as appropriate.Use internal and external databases as required.Participate in development and implementation of processes that ensure integration of participant feedback in program planning.Participate in agency work groups and committees.Participate in all ACS training and technical assistance sessions as required.All other duties as assignedExperience and comfort working with court-involved youthExperience and comfort working with families.BA in social work or related field required, MA preferred.Ability to work with diverse populations and provide culturally competent servicesFamiliarity with strength-based and trauma informed practices.Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.#J-18808-Ljbffr
