About the Executive Compensation Group:
Ranked Band 1 by Chambers USA, S&C's Executive Compensation Group has been a recognized industry leader for decades. The Group advises companies, boards of directors, compensation committees, management teams and individual executives on a wide range of compensation matters and arrangements in extraordinary corporate events (including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, initial public offerings, spin-offs and bankruptcies), in the context of transition and succession planning and in a day-to-day advisory role.
Our advice encompasses corporate governance, securities, disclosure, tax and regulatory considerations, including the design and implementation of compensation arrangements that satisfy client objectives relating to transition and succession concerns, financial statement reporting, public disclosure, tax impacts on the company and the executive and regulatory considerations. Our team also regularly collaborates with the Firm's Employment Law Group to assist clients with a range of employment issues that confront our client's businesses. The Group's deep experience with the issues faced by companies, compensation committees and management, combined with the Firm's multidisciplinary approach, enable our lawyers to serve as practical, business-oriented advisors on the full spectrum of compensation and employment matters and provide an unmatched combination of technical expertise and creative problem-solving.
