Everett ArenaTYPICAL WORK SHIFT/SCHEDULE:VariedSALARY RANGE:$13.76- $16.48 DOQAPPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:Closing Date: Open until filled.A City Application is required.Applications may be completed online at www.concordnh.gov.For more information on applying, please call the Human Resources Department at(voice) orTTY ator 7-1-1.=========================================================================Come work for Everett Arena where you can get paid to skate!JOB SUMMARY:Under the direction of the Arena Supervisor, assists with Public Skating Sessions and working in the arena pro shop which includes patrolling the ice, interacting with skaters, helping injured skaters, skate rentals and retail sales.TYPICAL WORK SHIFT/SCHEDULE:Saturday's 11:0 Am to 1:30 PM Sunday's 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Holiday's - Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, December Holiday Week; New Year's Day, February vacation week 11:00 to 1:30 PMExamples of DutiesESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Help collect money at front officePatrol the Ice during skating sessions ensuring the safety of the skatersHelp with any injured skaters including simple first aid and filling out accident report1st one on the ice - Last one off the iceHelp clean up after session, empty trash, sweep up.Other duties as assigned by SupervisorTypical QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:Education and Experience:Good skating abilityGood communication skillsCompleted Application & Background CheckKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Good skating abilityCash handling and balancing.Providing exceptional customer service to the publicSupplemental InformationMATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT USED:Cash RegisterSkatesCleaning Equipment such as brooms, etc.WORKING CONDITIONS:Work is performed in an ice arena where the employee may be exposed to cold temperatures.Work is performed in a noisy place.This class specification should not be interpreted as all inclusive.
