Saab is seeking a Senior Staff Systems Engineer to lead complex defense and manufacturing programs across the full lifecycle. Responsibilities

  • Lead system architecture, requirements definition, and allocation for complex defense and manufacturing programs.
  • Own systems integration, verification, and validation planning and execution across the product lifecycle.
  • Conduct technical trade studies, modeling, and risk management to optimize performance, cost, and schedule.
  • Apply MBSE practices and tools to develop and manage system models and interfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, reliability, and defense/aerospace standards and customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary global teams including hardware, software, manufacturing, and program management.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and review of engineering work products.
  • Support proposals, technical reviews, and customer/partner engagements with clear technical communication.
