GDIT is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to help support our OMC program in McLean, VA. NOTE: Due to the secure work environment this role entails, telecommuting is not allowed and will require the employee to report full-time onsite.The Office of Military Commissions (OMC) and Office of the Chief Prosecutor (OCP) require litigation support to prosecution counsel in all aspects of pre-trial investigation and trial preparation for the Military Commissions convened under the Military Commissions Act of 2009 (including United States v. Al Nashiri, United States v. Khalid Shaikh Mohammad et al., and United States v. Abd al Hadi al-Iraqi).HOW AN INTELLIGENCE ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: The Office of Military Commissions (OMC) and Office of the Chief Prosecutor (OCP) require litigation support to prosecution counsel in all aspects of pre-trial and trial preparation for the Military Commissions convened under the Military Commissions Act of 2009. Analysts supporting OCP would be responsible for identifying, resourcing, and executing discovery-related missions as directed by the Chief Prosecutor, including, but not limited to:Conducting comprehensive searches for documents in response to specific defense discovery requests, applying applicable redactions, and crafting adequate substitutesRetrieving and refining, as necessary, summaries and substitutionsPerforming other discovery, pretrial preparation, and trial missions, including, but not limited to, research and analysis of existing intelligence, law enforcement, and legal products, as well as creation of new productsManaging the organization's task-oriented system and assisting in its daily support of all trial teamsExecuting occasional travel, both local and internationalTravel Requirements: up to 25% international travel, or as determined by OCP.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED CLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI security clearance ** NOTE: clearance MUST be held in JPAS/DISS **EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Legal Studies, National Security, Intelligence, Paralegal Studies) or equivalent combinationYEAR'S EXPERIENCE: 2 years experience in intelligence analysis and/or criminal litigation supportSKILLS & ABILITIES: Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous task requirements within a fast-paced environmentSKILLS & ABILITIES: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral), strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups in a demanding environmentSKILLS & ABILITIES: Ability to work independentlySKILLS & ABILITIES: Able to report onsite as indicated aboveLOCATION: Onsite in McLean, VAWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED – DESIRED: EDUCATION: Master's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Legal Studies, National Security, Intelligence, Paralegal Studies)SKILLS & ABILITIES: Knowledge of Military Commission processSKILLS & ABILITIES: Progressive experience providing support to criminal litigationGDIT IS YOUR PLACE: 401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays#J-18808-Ljbffr
