Summary
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated part-time Sheriff Deputy to join our law enforcement team. The Sheriff Deputy will be responsible for maintaining law and order, preventing crime, protecting life and property, and enforcing laws and ordinances.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred2-week Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (KLETC) certification within 1 year of hireMust pass a background check and drug screeningValid driver's license required or attainable within 30 days of hireResponsibilities: Predominately work events and special campaignsRespond to emergency calls and provide assistance as neededInvestigate crimes and accidentsArrest suspects and testify in courtPrepare detailed reports and maintain recordsCollaborate with other law enforcement agenciesAdditional Requirements: Strong communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to remain composed in stressful situationsDemonstrated commitment to upholding ethical standards and regulationsAdditional Perks: Equipment and uniforms providedSpecialized trainingIf you possess the necessary skills and experience to excel in this role, we look forward to receiving your application.Selection Process: Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview.
