Plantation Fire Department Cadet Program

The Plantation Fire Department Cadet program is a career development program aimed for the Fire Service. Young men and women between the ages of 14 and 18 years old will learn about the Plantation Fire Department and prepare themselves for a career in the Fire Service.

Fire Cadets will complete a training program that will consist of the following:

  • First Aid
  • CPR
  • Firefighter Tactics
  • Vehicle Extrication
  • Fire Safety
  • Train for competitions
  • Assist in community events

Cadets must be available to attend bi-weekly meetings on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm-8:30pm and must have transportation to and from the program.
