Summary
Duties include reading, interpreting and summarizing crime data; studying data and linking common factors to identify patternsand anomalies; preparing charts, graphs, maps and other reports for use in comparison, analysis and forecasting; andproviding assistance in determining police coverage needs. Duties also include conducting background research on possiblesuspects, addresses and vehicles; and responding to requests for information from law enforcement personnel.PAY GRADE GG19 / FULL PAY RANGE $28.05 - $39.55 PER HOUR ($58,344 - $82,272 ANNUALLY)A high school diploma or equivalent, plus some college or specialized training in a related field, and two years of relevant experience are required. Must have thorough knowledge of MS Office products. Duties involve access to sensitive Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS), which requires that a thorough background check be conducted. Candidates will be subject to a criminal history check.
