The role involves applying federal contracting principles, conducting cost and price analysis, and developing acquisition strategies and documentation in alignment with DoD acquisition systems and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesApply knowledge of contracting principles, laws, regulations, and federal acquisition procedures (FAR/DFARS)Perform cost and price analysis to support procurement decisions and acquisition planningConduct fact-finding, analysis, and resolution of complex contracting and acquisition issuesDevelop actionable recommendations, acquisition strategies, and supporting documentationPrepare written materials including reports, correspondence, recommendations, and acquisition deliverablesCommunicate contractual guidance to stakeholders and non-contracting personnelSupport acquisition lifecycle activities within DoD acquisition systems and integrated environmentsEnsure accurate documentation and data management using Microsoft Office and acquisition toolsCollaborate with program teams to resolve procurement and contract-related challengesRequired Skills & Experience8+ years of experience in one or more of the following:Project or program managementLogistics or life cycle managementAcquisition or procurement supportRequirements generation or contract supportPurchasing of DoD supplies and servicesExperience may be reduced to 4 years with a Bachelor's degreeStrong understanding of federal and DoD acquisition processes and proceduresExperience with contracting principles, cost analysis, and procurement documentationStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree preferredFamiliarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD acquisition frameworksExperience supporting acquisition systems or integrated acquisition environmentsPrior federal or DoD contracting experience strongly preferred.BenefitsComprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans (Healthcare benefits are 100% employer-paid for employees only)Life InsurancePaid Time Off (Flexible/Combined PTO, Bereavement Leave, 11 Company Paid Holidays)401K Retirement Plan with employer matchProfessional Development Training ReimbursementSalary Range$ 100,000- $ 105,000 annually#J-18808-Ljbffr
