Sentara Therapy Center BelleHarbour is hiring a Clinical Exercise Specialist. Full Time - We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits!
The Clinical Exercise Specialist administers therapy treatments under the direct supervision of a licensed leader. Provides quality exercise and health education for patients, assuring a safe, pleasant, and professional atmosphere. Productive and efficient in daily operations.
Establishes and updates the exercise program to address the client/participant's needs. Supervises and assists clients/participants with their daily exercise sessions, ensuring client/participant safety. Provides effective instruction to clients/participants and their families through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. Supports the health education needs of the center. Supports therapist(s)/providers in providing effective treatment plans. Documents patient response to treatment. Completes other clinical duties as assigned. Demonstrates ability to offer support and potential enhancements of services.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Health Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Recreational Therapy, Physical Education, or Clinical Exercise Physiology.
Experience:
1 year of clinical experience preferred.
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $23.84 - $36.02 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
