Program Manager for the Office of the Dean

UCLA Fielding School of Public Health is seeking a talented professional to join our team as Program Manager for the Office of the Dean. Qualifications
  • Demonstrated, genuine commitment to the core mission of Public Health.
  • Outstanding work ethic, high reliability, and the ability to provide excellent professional references upon request.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Public Health terminology, principles, and practices; and strong understanding of public health disciplines and practice settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing the primary support to executive level administrator or manager.
  • Proven track record in program management and data analysis.
  • Strong skills in analyzing, researching, and synthesizing large amounts of data.
  • Demonstrated skill in developing task-oriented timelines to keep track of ongoing project deadlines and ensure project goals are met.
  • Demonstrated experience with program and event coordination.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and other campus units as well as with external partners.
  • Organizational skills to prioritize work assignments with attention to detail.
  • Analytical skills to identify and resolve problems using sound judgment, critical thinking, and independent decision-making.
  • Ability to use tact and diplomacy, maintain confidentiality, and use discretion at all times.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to present and compose reports, business correspondence, and other information accurately, clearly and effectively to all audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience multitasking and managing changing priorities and conflicting deadlines independently, with minimal direction.
  • Computer proficiency in a Windows environment, using such programs as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, OASIS, Google applications, AI and other graphic/database software programs.
  • Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
  • Bachelor's Degree required and 3-5 years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's Degree In Public Health or other related fields (Preferred)
  • Background Check: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation.
