Trillium Construction is now seeking Fire Watch and Spotters for a manufacturing facility project near Asheville, NC!

Fire Watch and Spotters will maintain constant observation of the work area while hot work is being performed. Responsibilities include identifying andreporting sparks, smoke, fire hazards, and unsafe conditions, as well as keeping required fire-safety equipment readily available.

Project Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday through Saturday
• Shift: 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Hours: Approximately 60 hours per week
• Pay Rate: $26 per hour, no per diem available

Qualifications:

• Previous fire watch, spotter, or construction experience preferred
• Ability to remain attentive while monitoring active hot work
• Ability to identify and report fire hazards and unsafe conditions
• Ability to follow all site safety policies and procedures
• Ability to provide required identification for daily site access
• Must work professionally in a safety- and quality-focused environment
• Must be able to work in a tobacco-free environment
• Must wear basic PPE, including a Type 2 hard hat with chin strap, high-visibility vest, safety glasses, and work boots
