Leads monitor and report any extraordinary performance or deviations from operational standards. As a Lead Ramp Agent, you will work as part of a team delivering safe and efficient aircraft services while providing the highest level of customer service and keeping passengers and aircraft moving safely and on time.Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Including But Not Limited To)Ensures all QAS and customer safety standards are met and maintainedProperly and safely loads and unloads freight. Including build up and break down of cargo pallets and freight containers following guidelinesProtects freight from elements, damage, and vandalismHolds equipment certifications and operates equipment safelyMust successfully complete all training classesRequired Skills And ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentMaintain and treat all information as confidentialPossess the tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representativesMust be able to read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in EnglishMust be able to direct in English verballyA valid driver's license is required for this positionWork EnvironmentPhysically strenuous, prolonged periods of time standing with exposure to noise (may be excessive at times), safe but potentially unpleasant odors, varying temperatures and humidity, in and around heavy moving equipment;Prolonged periods of time standing with exposure to prevalent weather, dust, dirt, fuel, fumes, and noise in or around heavy equipment and moving vehicles.Physical DemandsMust be able to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; speak and hear efficientlyAble to lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds at timesAbility to climb ladders of up to 15 feet in heightProlonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing and pullingThe Inland Group of Companies maintains a drug-free workplace.
