Duties

Patrol installation to ensure safety/security of human lives and property. Arrest persons committing or suspected of committing crimes on the installation. Investigate circumstances where a criminal threat may exist. Promote traffic safety by issuing warnings and citations. Prepare written reports of case findings. Collect and protect evidence, witnesses, victims, etc. Protect government property, materials and facilities against trespass, theft, fire, damage and espionage. Serve as a police patrol officer enforcing Federal criminal laws and the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) involving persons and property. Exercise exclusive law enforcement jurisdiction responsible for the apprehension or detention of persons suspected or convicted of offenses against the criminal laws of the United States.
