Assessment Coordinator
Bring precision to the certification process help support NGA's GEOINT Professional Certification (GPC) Program by coordinating the secure, accurate, and consistent delivery of professional certification assessments. As an Assessment Coordinator, you will support the full assessment lifecycle, from scheduling examinations and preparing testing materials to coordinating with test takers, testing sites, and exam administrators. You will help ensure assessments are conducted in accordance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs), security requirements, GPC policies, and accreditation standards. You will also manage exam data, maintain certification and accreditation records, safeguard and track testing materials, and respond to questions from candidates and external testing-site administrators. Additional responsibilities may include supporting audits and helping train proctors and other personnel involved in the assessment process. Your attention to detail, organization, and ability to follow established processes will help maintain the integrity and credibility of NGA's professional certification program. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating people and processes, working with data, and providing clear, professional support to a variety of stakeholders. Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Entry-level position intended for candidates with less than 3 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel to retrieve, organize, and manage data
- Strong attention to detail and ability to reliably follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Demonstrated experience analyzing processes and providing actionable recommendations to improve workflow efficiency and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including providing customer service and clearly conveying instructions to diverse audiences
- Comfortable delivering public presentations, including reading and explaining 10-to-15-minute proctoring scripts and responding to participant questions
Desired:
- Experience using Microsoft Access to organize, manage and track records or databases
- Knowledge of records management policies and procedures to ensure compliance and proper documentation
- Familiarity with Reasonable Accommodations to support test-takers with diverse needs
