In this role, you will:Help maintain safety, security, and order throughout the facilityMonitor inmate movement, behavior, and well-beingRespond to fights, medical emergencies, and other critical incidentsConduct searches, head counts, and security checksOperate cameras, doors, alarms, and other control systemsPrepare accurate logs and incident reportsHelp prevent escapes, contraband, and injury to inmates, staff, and visitorsSupport daily operations including meals, visitation, recreation, and clinic securityThis position offers the chance to build a meaningful career in law enforcement while serving Sedgwick County with integrity, professionalism, and purpose.
