A fast growing, award winning DC based national security contractor is looking for a Senior Security Policy Analyst and Action Officer to support the Office of the Under Secretary of War at the Pentagon.
What you'd be doing:
Developing and staffing DoW policy on classification management and programme protection, conducting security reviews, assessing PPPs and coordinating across DCSA, Joint Staff J28, OSD R&E and the DoW CIO.
Producing action memos, Congressional responses and briefings on classification and programme protection matters.
What they need:
- Active TS/SCI
- 10 years DoD information security policy — specifically classification management, CUI or NISP
- 5 years drafting and staffing DoD Directives and Instructions — DoDI 5200.44, DoDI 5200.50 or equivalent
- 4 years staff action officer at OSD, JCS, OUSD or Military Department HQ level
- PPP, SCRM, CUI and NISP experience
- Familiarity with Security Classification Guides and derivative classification
Ideal background:
OUSD(R&E), ISOO, NSC, Army CIO, OSD or Military Department HQ — working directly on classification policy, programme protection and information security governance.
Experience coordinating across NSA, legal offices and federal agencies on DoD issuances is a strong differentiator.
This is not a cybersecurity role. This is not an ISSO role.
Senior classification and programme protection policy work at the highest level of DoW governance.
