About the Position:The position is located at A.T. Augusta Military Medical Center, DIR for Education, Training and Research in the Dept. of Graduate Medicine Education, Staff Medical Library. Hours of operation Monday - Friday 0730-1600 - hours may change at the commands discretion.This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.Who May Apply: US CitizensIn order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document.Specialized Experience:One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Processing a variety of library materials utilizing an automated library system, 2) Utilizing the Interlibrary Loan using specialized databases such as DocLine or OCLC, 3) Manning high-volume circulation and support desks, and 4) Answering patron queries, managing accounts, and resolving basic hardware, equipment, or catalog search issues.OREducation:Successful completion of one full academic year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Library Sciences (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)#J-18808-Ljbffr
