Summary

Job Location: Pawhuska - Pawhuska, OK 74056, Position Type: Regular Full-Time.Reports to the Regulatory Compliance Licensing Supervisor and Regulatory Compliance Licensing Manager, Regulatory Compliance Agents conduct background investigations to obtain confidential information regarding Osage Casino employees, Gaming Commission employees, and Osage Casino Vendors. Agents determine suitability and make recommendations for issuing all gaming licenses. All licensing protocols are conducted in accordance with the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) requirements, Osage Nation's Gaming Ordinance, Federal and Tribal Laws, the Oklahoma State Compact, and ONGC Rules and Regulations.Qualifications Associate's Degree or 1- 3 years of experience in background investigations, experience in tribal gaming, or minimum 1 year experience in an office setting requiredRequires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs, licensing database and other programs specific to background investigationsMust be able to pass a criminal background check in order to obtain a gaming licenseMust obtain required Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) awareness training and maintain certification annuallyMust be able to pass drug/alcohol testingMust be able to lift at least 30 lbsAbility to learn, or possess prior knowledge of all casino games, security and casino related department procedures and various Federal, State and Tribal regulations.Must have excellent report writing skillsKnowledge of reading and analyzing court documents and credit reportsMust have the ability to effectively present information to Supervisor, Manager, Director and Gaming Commissioners in an open public forumMust have the ability to follow complex instructions and perform tasks under limited supervisionMust be able to complete assigned deadlines and meet NIGC Federal GuidelinesMust have excellent multi-tasking capabilitiesRequires a high level of personal integrity and ethicsRequires a high level of problem solving skillsRequires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessionsRequires good interpersonal communication and team work skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
