Job Summary

The Financial/Pricing Analyst supports staffing analysis, cost modeling, and proposals for aviation ground handling services. This role may be a strong fit for an aviation Operations Manager or other ground handling professional who understands how the operationruns, is comfortable working with numbers and Excel, and can translate operational needs into practical staffing plans.

A key part of the role is using hours and workload data from the INFORM system to determine the headcount needed to run an operation. The analyst works closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, and the Manager of Pricing Strategy & Quality Proposals to make sure staffing assumptions and proposals reflect what is needed to deliver the service.

Prior experience with contracts, RFPs, or pricing is helpful, but it is not required. We are looking for someone with strong ground handling knowledge who can learn the pricing and proposal process.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Staffing & Pricing Support

  • Review operational hours, schedules, and workload data from INFORM and convert them into accurate, supportable headcount and staffing plans.
  • Account for shift coverage, supervision, productivity, days of operation, and other operational needs when developing staffing assumptions.
  • Partner with Operations to validate the staffing and resources needed for services such as cabin cleaning, ramp, passenger services, baggage, support services, and GSE.
  • Use Excel to organize operational data, calculate staffing needs, review costs, and explain the assumptions behind the numbers.
  • Support the development of cost models that include labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, and overhead.
  • Help ensure proposed staffing and pricing reflect operational realities, financial targets, and service requirements.
Proposals & Collaboration
  • Support pricing for aviation ground handling RFPs, bids, and proposals.
  • Review RFP and service requirements with Operations, Sales, Finance, and other partners to identify the staffing, equipment, and resources needed.
  • Document staffing assumptions, calculations, exclusions, and potential risks clearly.
  • Assist with proposal reviews and post-award validation to confirm that the planned staffing aligns with the operation.
Data, Tools & Process Improvement
  • Maintain accurate spreadsheets, staffing models, and pricing templates.
  • Identify gaps or inconsistencies in operational data and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
  • Help improve how operational hours and staffing needs are translated into proposals and budgets.
  • Track proposal outcomes and share operational insights that can improve future staffing plans and pricing.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in aviation ground handling operations, particularly in a role involving staffing, scheduling, workforce planning, or operational management.
  • Experience working with INFORM and the ability to interpret its operational hours or workload data.
  • Ability to convert operational hours into realistic headcount requirements and explain the calculations.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with staffing data, formulas, and cost calculations.
  • Understanding of how ground handling services are staffed and delivered.
  • Ability to work with Operations, Finance, and other teams to validate assumptions and meet deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with RFPs, contracts, pricing, or financial modeling is preferred but not required. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Aviation Management, or a related field is preferred; relevant ground handling experience will also be considered.


Work Location

This position offers a hybrid schedule for candidates based near our Miami, FL office. Remote candidates will also be considered if they work from a state other than New York, Florida, Maryland, Virginia, or Washington. The selected candidate must be able to collaborate with the team during established business hours.
