Summary

About the Company

A well-established, highly regarded builder with a strong mission-critical and data center portfolio and a major presence in the Phoenix market. Known for valuing tenure and investing in its people, the firm is the sole general contractor on a very large hyperscale campus — offering the rare combination of cutting-edge data center work and long-term, local stability.

Job Description

The Mission Critical Superintendent leads all field construction operations on a large-scale hyperscale data center campus in Phoenix — a 5+ year project with the potential to grow to as many as 13 buildings. This is a local role overseeing the site from start to finish to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery, with the opportunity to build a multi-year career on a single flagship campus without leaving the Phoenix area.

Select Responsibilities

  • Provide overall supervision of field construction — planning, coordination, sequencing, and scheduling
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain schedule and quality across multiple buildings
  • Enforce jobsite safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment per company and OSHA standards
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and implement recovery strategies as needed
  • Perform quality control walks and manage punch lists through each phase of construction
  • Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions and officials
  • Maintain daily logs, material tracking, and project documentation
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and engineers

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent on mission-critical, data center, or similarly complex ground-up projects
  • Experience on large-scale projects and the ability to manage work across a multi-building campus
  • Local to the Phoenix area or firmly established in the market
  • Strong knowledge of mission-critical means and methods, scheduling, and trade coordination
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office

What's on Offer

  • Competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits package
  • $180K–$240K base + bonus with a total-package figure (~$230K–$290K)
  • A 5+ year hyperscale campus (potential for up to 13 buildings) — exceptional long-term stability on a single project
  • Sole-GC role on a flagship mission-critical campus with high visibility
  • The ability to stay local to Phoenix while leading cutting-edge data center work
  • A builder that values tenure and invests in long-term careers
