Summary
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is searching for a Contract Campus Recruiter for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Insurance clients in New York, NY. This position can be performed primarily remotely but will require occasional onsite presence at the client's Hudson Yards office, up to 2 days per week. Candidates must be local to the New York City area.Responsibilities:
- Support the full lifecycle of campus, university, and early-career recruiting activities.
- Support the development and execution of the Spring campus recruiting strategy.
- Conduct outreach and build relationships with colleges, universities, student organizations, and other campus partners.
- Coordinate and participate in campus recruiting events, career fairs, presentations, and other student engagement activities.
- Coordinate employee representatives participating in campus recruiting events.
- Source, screen, and engage students and early-career candidates.
- Conduct first-round phone screens for campus, early-career, and other high-volume positions.
- Gather, organize, and maintain school and organization contact lists.
- Track and process expenses associated with recruiting events and activities.
- Support the "keep warm" strategy for the incoming intern class from acceptance through program start.
- Create templates for newsletters, questionnaires, communications, and other materials distributed to incoming interns.
- Create and maintain program distribution lists.
- Create and manage calendar invitations for summer internship programming.
- Coordinate invitations and communications for interns, managers, mentors, and other participants.
- Book conference rooms and coordinate meeting and event logistics.
- Create and maintain intern and manager contact sheets.
- Create, update, and maintain the intern profile deck.
- Provide hands-on administrative and coordination support throughout campus recruiting and internship programs.
- Strong hands-on campus/university recruiting experience with an understanding of the full campus recruiting lifecycle.
- Experience supporting multiple stages of campus recruiting, including school outreach/relationship management, campus events, student engagement, candidate screening/interviewing, internship or early-career hiring, and candidate follow-up.
- Experience supporting internship and/or early-career recruiting programs.
- Experience conducting first-round candidate phone screens.
- Experience coordinating campus recruiting events, career fairs, meetings, calendars, and related logistics.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple activities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create and maintain professional communications, spreadsheets, contact lists, presentations, and program materials.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Must be local to the New York City area and able to work onsite in Hudson Yards as needed, up to 2 days per week.
- Dedicated experience as a Campus Recruiter, University Recruiter, University Relations Recruiter, Early Careers Recruiter, Early Talent Recruiter, or similar role.
- Experience managing or supporting campus recruiting from initial school outreach through candidate engagement, interviewing, hiring, keep-warm activities, and internship/program onboarding.
- Experience supporting summer internship programs, including intern communications, programming, manager/mentor coordination, and program administration.
- Experience developing relationships with colleges, universities, career centers, student organizations, and internal employee representatives.
- Campus recruiting experience within a large corporate or enterprise environment.
- Insurance industry experience.
