Position Details
Cross Country Education is seeking Special Education Teachers for multiple school-based opportunities across Arizona. We have openings serving students from K–12th grade, including resource and self-contained settings.
Locations & Openings:
- Phoenix, AZ - Phoenix Union High School District: 9th–12th Grade Special Education
- Tempe, AZ – Tempe Elementary School District: K–8th Grade Resource & Self-Contained
- Surprise, AZ – Dysart Unified School District: K–8th Grade Resource
- Phoenix, AZ – Paradise Valley School District: K–8th Grade Resource & Self-Contained
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: May 28, 2027
Schedule: Full-time school-based positions
Compensation: $50–55+/hr based on experience (W-2)
Pay: Paid weekly

Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students receiving special education services
- Develop and implement individualized instruction based on student needs and IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate educational documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs
- Adapt curriculum, instruction, and classroom materials to meet individual student needs
- Support students in resource, self-contained, and/or inclusion settings depending on the assignment
Requirements
- Appropriate Arizona Special Education teaching certification/credential
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively within a school-based team
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom-management skills
- Must be eligible to work in a school setting in Arizona
