Commercial Property Manager | Industrial/Office Campus
Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee a large, diverse commercial portfolio consisting of industrial, office, manufacturing, research, and warehouse space. This is a high-visibility opportunity for a hands-on property management professional who can take ownership of day-to-day operations while bringing strong financial and reporting expertise to the role.
The portfolio encompasses several million square feet of commercial space, offering a mix of property types and operational challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing industrial properties, ideally combined with office experience, and the ability to effectively manage both the physical asset and its financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management and operations of a large industrial and office portfolio.
- Maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate and oversee building maintenance, repairs, capital projects, and preventative maintenance programs.
- Manage property budgets, operating expenses, and annual forecasting.
- Prepare and review financial reports, operating statements, and variance reports.
- Monitor property performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and financial results.
- Oversee vendor contracts, service agreements, insurance requirements, and compliance matters.
- Conduct regular property inspections and ensure buildings are maintained to a high standard.
- Respond to tenant concerns and ensure issues are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with ownership and internal teams regarding property performance, capital needs, and strategic initiatives.
- Assist with lease administration, including lease compliance, tenant obligations, and operating expense recoveries.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects and competing responsibilities across a large and diverse portfolio.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial property management experience.
- Strong experience managing industrial properties, with office experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing large or complex commercial properties.
- Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience preparing and analyzing property financial reports.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and variance analysis.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to operate independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accountability.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 plus bonus, medical/dental/vision, and 401(k) with company match.
