Commercial Superintendent - Palm Beach County

Summary

This is with a well-established South Florida general contractor seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee commercial interior and build-out projects throughout the region.

This position is ideal for a field leader with a strong background in commercial interiors, tenant improvements, renovations, office build-outs, healthcare facilities, and fitness / gym projects.

The Superintendent will be responsible for day-to-day field operations, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, quality control, safety, inspections, and project closeout.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily field operations from mobilization through project completion
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades
• Maintain project schedules and identify potential delays
• Coordinate MEP trades, inspections, deliveries, and site logistics
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional jobsite
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers, clients, architects, and subcontractors
• Manage punch list and closeout activities
• Proactively resolve field issues and keep projects moving forward

Qualifications:

• Previous Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor
• Strong experience with commercial interior build-outs and tenant improvement projects
• Experience with office, healthcare / medical, fitness / gym, or similar commercial interiors
• Strong understanding of MEP coordination and commercial construction sequencing
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and project schedules
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to independently manage a project in the field
