Position: Senior Principal Solution Architect – Application AWS to GCP Migration
Location: New York, NY (On-site: Monday–Thursday)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Principal Solution Architect to lead an enterprise-scale AWS-to-GCP cloud migration, establish the target architecture, and define the GCP platform foundation. This role requires a seasoned architect who can drive technical decisions, establish engineering standards, and collaborate effectively with executive stakeholders and distributed engineering teams across the US and India.
Key Responsibilities
- Migration Strategy & Target Architecture: Define and execute the end-to-end AWS-to-GCP migration strategy and target architecture.
- Core Infrastructure & Security: Design the GCP Landing Zone, VPC networking, IAM models, security controls, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Application Platform Design: Establish architectural standards for GKE, Cloud Run, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- DevSecOps & Automation: Drive Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps standards, and platform engineering practices.
- Governance & Resiliency: Formulate robust observability, high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and compliance frameworks.
- Technical Leadership & Execution: Lead architecture boards, resolve complex technical challenges, and translate strategic architecture into execution roadmaps for US and offshore teams.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Partner across multi-regional leadership (New York, Chicago, India) including Security, DevOps, and PMO teams.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 15+ years of progressive experience in Cloud, Solution, or Enterprise Architecture.
- Cloud Expertise: Proven track record in dual-cloud environments (AWS and GCP) with direct experience leading complex AWS-to-GCP enterprise migrations.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in GCP Landing Zones, VPC, IAM, Terraform, Kubernetes (GKE), Cloud Run, CI/CD, and microservices architecture.
- Delivery Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead distributed onshore/offshore engineering organizations.
- Communication: Superior stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
- Platform Engineering: Hands-on experience designing Internal Developer Platforms (IDP).
- Financial Management: Proficiency in FinOps principles and cloud cost management.
- Industry Context: Direct experience working within highly regulated enterprise environments (e.g., Financial Services).
