Summary
Our client is searching for a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join their team in Tampa, FL.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budgeting process and maintain rolling and multi-year forecasts, including scenario analysis to support executive decision-making.
- Prepare monthly variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and forecast, with clear explanations of key drivers.
- Build and maintain financial models for fleet capital expenditures, equipment ROI, and expansion opportunities, including new branches and potential acquisitions.
- Track and report on equipment utilization, rental rates, and branch and project profitability.
- Develop monthly and quarterly management reporting packages and executive-ready presentations.
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and automated reporting to reduce reliance on manual Excel processes.
- Present financial results and models to leadership, translating complex data into clear business insights.
- Partner with Accounting, Operations, and IT to ensure data integrity and consistent reporting.
- Support materials for lenders, auditors, and other external partners as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Financial Analysis, Corporate Finance, or a similar analytical role.
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, or financial modeling activities.
- Experience using business intelligence, reporting, ERP, or accounting systems.
- Experience working with accounting or financial data and communicating analysis to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
